General Terms and
Conditions _
Terra Alta

Micro-Enterprise – Alexandra Morize
Terra Alta

Article 1 – Purpose

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (“GTC”) apply, without restriction or reservation, to any purchase of travel planning and consultancy services offered by Terra Alta (including transport, accommodation, activities, stays, etc.).

These services are intended for both individuals and professionals.
The various services offered by Terra Alta are presented on the website www.terra-altas.com.

The Client is required to read them carefully before placing any order.
Placing an order implies full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions, which are accessible at all times on the provider’s website.

Terra Alta reserves the right to adapt or modify these GTC at any time. The version applicable to the Client is the one in effect on the date of the order.

Article 2 – Ordering terms

Each order is initiated by the Client through:

Following the request, Terra Alta will contact the Client to clarify their needs and assess the feasibility of the project. A personalized quote will then be issued for approval.

Payment of all or part of the quote constitutes acceptance of these GTC and forms proof of the contractual relationship.

The order must be paid in full before the start of the consulting mission. Once validated, a proposed itinerary (including the requested services such as transport, accommodation, car rental, activities, etc.) will be sent to the Client within 7 working days (unless otherwise agreed).

Terra Alta provides consultancy services only and is not responsible for making bookings. Any booking links sent to the Client are for information purposes only. The Client remains solely responsible for their reservations.

Terra Alta cannot be held liable for any price changes or unavailability of services between the proposal and the Client’s actual booking.

Rates applicable are those shown on the website www.terra-alta.com or indicated in the customized quote. Rates are expressed in euros, all taxes included.

Article 3 – Payment terms

Payment may be made by credit card, bank transfer, or any secure online payment solution offered by Terra Alta.

In case of payment in installments, an initial deposit will be requested under the conditions defined in the quote, and the balance must be paid before the delivery of the final itinerary.

Any late payment will result in:

  • Penalties set at four (4) times the legal interest rate.
  • A fixed recovery compensation of forty (40) euros.
  • Possible suspension or cancellation of services by Terra Alta.

Article 4 – Provision of consultancy services

Terra Alta undertakes to make every effort to provide the consultancy services as agreed.

In the event of non-performance (outside force majeure or Client’s fault), the Client may request termination of the contract and reimbursement of amounts paid.

Termination by the Client will not give rise to reimbursement for services already provided.

Article 5 – Right of withdrawal

In accordance with consumer law, the Client has a withdrawal period of 14 days from the conclusion of the contract.

However, this right does not apply once Terra Alta has begun execution of the services (in particular, once proposals have been sent).

In the event of withdrawal after service initiation, only a proportional refund may be granted based on the services already performed.

Article 6 – Liability

Terra Alta provides advisory services only. The Client is solely responsible for making and managing their reservations.

Terra Alta cannot be held responsible for any dissatisfaction with services provided by third-party providers (e.g., airlines, hotels, activity operators).

Article 7 – Protection of personal data

In accordance with GDPR and the French Data Protection Act, Clients have the right to access, rectify, delete, restrict processing, object, and request portability of their personal data.

Requests can be addressed to contact@terra-alta.com.

Data is kept only as long as necessary for legal, tax, and accounting purposes (up to 10 years for invoices and supporting documents).

Article 8 – Force majeure

Neither Party shall be held liable in case of non-performance due to force majeure (Article 1218 of the French Civil Code).

Examples: government restrictions, natural disasters, strikes, epidemics, or other unforeseeable circumstances.

Delays or cancellations resulting from such events will not give rise to liability or damages. Terra Alta will, however, inform the Client of any impact on services.

Article 9 – Applicable law

These GTC are subject to French law.

Article 10 – Disputes

In case of dispute, an amicable solution will be sought first.

If no agreement is reached, disputes will be brought before the competent courts under French common law.

In accordance with Articles L.612-1 et seq. of the Consumer Code, the Client may also resort free of charge to the following consumer mediation body:
